The mechanisms taught in the Mars® Protocol specification are the subject of multiple pending United States patent applications, including provisional patent applications, owned by Causum.

No license by access

Access to this repository, the specification, or any document within it conveys no patent license, express or implied, by estoppel or otherwise. Patent rights are licensed only under a valid, executed license agreement with Causum, and only to the extent expressly stated in that agreement (see the license and IP notice).

No waiver

Publication of the specification does not waive, exhaust, or dedicate to the public any patent right, whether or not an application covering a given mechanism has been filed, published, or granted.

Identification of applications

Pending applications are not enumerated here while they remain unpublished. This notice will be updated to identify applications and issued patents by number as they publish or grant, and thereafter serves as the marking reference for the identified patents.
