14. Cross-layer dependencies
§02a — Base analysis. The conformance certificate invariant structure and the recomputation witness architecture define the structural requirements that AIGP-retained admission witnesses must satisfy to serve as soundness anchors for Mars®-issued certificates. Specifically: the witness must bind the finding to the analysis acts that produced it under a governing specification; it must be re-derivable by an independent inspector without trust in the deployment; and it must carry the analysis-act type, governing-specification identifier, and the order under which the act was performed. AIGP-retained admission witnesses that satisfy these requirements may populate Certificate Field 7 as soundness-anchor chain entries. AIGP-retained witnesses that do not satisfy these requirements cannot.
§02b — Delta-attestation lifecycle. The delta-attestation lifecycle governs the amendment lifecycle for the governing specification versions referenced in AIGP-retained admission witnesses. When AIGP operates under a governing specification version that has since been amended with a scope-breaking classification, the prior-version witnesses carried in Certificate Field 7 remain valid as historical records but the chain’s forward-looking scope is bounded by the amendment. The delta-attestation cascade (§02b §5) applies to the governing specification versions AIGP uses on the same terms as all other registered artifacts.
§02c — Non-language bridge. The non-language-provenance anchor (§02c §2) is the inbound connection point. It is where AIGP’s pre-execution admission verdict and the order-typed enriched prompt enter the Mars® analysis chain. The actuation anchor (§02c §4) is the outbound connection point: it is where the conformance certificate issued by Mars® is consumed by the downstream governance layer. Together, the non-language-provenance anchor and the actuation anchor define what Mars® accepts at its pre-invocation boundary and what it delivers at its post-invocation boundary.
§03 — Artifacts. The evidence-gathering verification performed by the artifacts layer is the mechanism that produces the grounded conformance verdict Mars® certifies. When an AIGP output validation verdict is present, it is additional evidence that §03 weighs; when it is absent, §03’s own analysis is the primary and sufficient source. §03’s output is what makes the certificate Field 4 entry a grounded verdict rather than a relay of AIGP’s signal.
