Version 1.0-draft
1. What this layer covers
This layer elaborates four analysis capabilities that are grounded in the discrete-representation genus (§02a §5) and the multi-stage pipeline machinery (§02a §5a), but whose structural depth warrants dedicated specification:
- The composed discrete program — order-governed, audit-bound composition of two or more discrete representations into a single executable program; the structural requirements on composition, reuse, and the composition witness
- The model-as-map layered architecture — the layered embodiment in which the formal domain model acts as a navigational map governing discrete-program traversal, with a subordinate specification override layer
- Cross-model composition — how representations formed under different domain models are composed by order, producing witness-bound emergent outputs
- Subject-directed determinations — order-typed, audit-bound findings that identify the responsible order and source rather than emitting opaque scores
These capabilities are independently deployable extensions of §02a. They do not re-specify the IR machinery, convergence criteria, symbolic execution, or reverse-composition — those are specified in §02a §5a and §02a §6. They do not re-specify the non-language boundary — that is §02c. They elaborate the discrete-representation genus’s compositional and navigational dimensions.
Dependencies. This layer depends on §01 (domain model — one or more, composable and independently operable; see §01 §1) and §02a (base analysis, discrete-representation genus, IR machinery, recomputation witness discipline). Where multiple domain models are active, each carries its own registered artifact identity; composition witnesses, traversal witnesses, and cascade records are scoped to the domain model version(s) under which they were produced.
